If you are reporting an emergency (imminent danger to life or property), outside of Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, you should contact the Emergency Duty Team on 0161 912 2020.
Use this form to report problems on Trafford’s roads, pavements and rights of way including:
- Poor surfaces and potholes
- Drainage and flooding issues
- Overgrown vegetation causing an obstruction
- Obstructions left in the road e.g. skips or advertisements
- Worn road markings
- Ice or snow causing a hazard (please see our winter gritting policy)
- Damaged grass verges
For other problems:
The authority undertakes regular safety inspections of the highway network in accordance with its Highway Safety Inspection policy.
We aim to inspect the problem you have reported within 10 working days. If, during the inspection, the problem is assessed as requiring rectification, priority for its repair will be assigned in accordance with the current Highway Safety Inspection policy.
Please note that not all problems reported will be assessed as requiring a repair.
